In Their Words

“I’m a writer who has reluctantly embraced video as a growing expectation of the job. I’m not terrible on camera, but I wanted to build confidence and get better at it.

Working with Hot Mic Media for on-camera coaching was so empowering! Her feedback was insightful, candid, and constructive. She brought the kind of behind-the-scenes perspective you only get from an anchor and reporter who has done this work for years. I learned how to deliver the sound bites producers are looking for without losing what makes my voice and personality unique.

Our in-studio mock interview session felt completely realistic — in the best, slightly nerve-wracking way. Lindsay knew exactly how to throw me off with a tough question so I could practice pivots and transitions in the moment. That’s a skill you just can’t build alone.

If you’re looking to feel more prepared, polished, and genuinely yourself on camera, Lindsay earns my highest recommendation.”
